On behalf of your RDC Board of Directors, I wanted to update all of you on the work your Board has done thus far in 2020 along with information about what we have in store for the balance of the year.

MEETING PLANNING AND EDUCATION
With the very difficult decisions to both cancel our Spring 2020 Meeting and switching our Fall 2020 Meeting to a virtual program, the Meeting Planning Committee and Education Committee was forced to significantly adjust their plans. The Education Committee Chair, Patrice Kuchulis, CRP, GMS, and her committee, quickly got to work and provided our membership with several webinars, including:

The Fall Meeting Committee Chairs, Sue Kwasneski, GDS, and Ryan Carrell, CRP, GDS, along with their committee members, are hard at work planning the content for our next meeting.  Additionally, our Mentors and Masters Program (M&M) will be offered during Worldwide ERC’s Virtual Mobility Month. The M&M Committee Chairs, Tess Chaney, CRP, GMS and Tonya Krebs, CRP, GDS, along with the committee, are preparing for this event. Stay tuned for more information regarding dates and times for both our Virtual Fall Meeting and M&M Program.

WORLDWIDE ERC
Our Executive Director, Kathleen Lukasik, and I had the honor of talking with the new President and CEO of Worldwide ERC, Lynn Shotwell. We provided her with information on the history of RDC, along with the strong business partnership we have had with Worldwide ERC over the years. Additionally, Lynn provided us with some insights on her vision for the future of Worldwide ERC. We asked Lynn if she would be willing to participate in a webinar to allow our members to meet her, and for Lynn to share her vision for the future. Lynn is very excited about this opportunity We are now finalizing the plans for the date and time for this webinar.  More to come on this!

With the recent announcement from Worldwide ERC of their Virtual Mobility Month, we have been working with Worldwide ERC to offer several sessions for the real estate audience. Patricia Pollard, CRP, GMS, SGDS is representing RDC on the Virtual Mobility Month Planning Committee. We are very excited to be able to partner with Worldwide ERC during their Virtual Mobility Month.

GLOBAL DESTINATIONS SERVICES (GDS)
The GDS Committee, led by RDC Vice President, Chuck Garrett, CRP, GDS has been working hard to convert the GDS content to a virtual offering. This will allow greater opportunities for a larger audience to access this valuable information. Stay tuned for more information for the exciting changes being made to GDS!

As a tribute to his 36 years of leadership, trustees of the Foundation for Workforce Mobility established this award for members who embody the business attributes and values associated with Cris Collie, Worldwide ERC®’s former CEO. Cris guided Worldwide ERC® from 1972 to 2008, helping grow the organization into the recognized authority on global workforce mobility issues it is today. Awarded since his retirement in 2008, each recipient embodies the characteristics valued and demonstrated by how Cris lives his life.
